Sherwin and Robynn's First Workday at Bethel

Sherwin and Robynn (you might recognize them from earlier posts) are two single sisters in our congregation. They have been wanting to come in and volunteer at the branch for a long time. They finally got their chance. They sang all day long. They worked hard too, scraping out old grout is not easy. We hope they come back soon.

Circuit Assembly

Circuit Assembly was awesome. Even though the island is small, somehow we don't get to see everyone. So assemblies are so fun. We meet at a gymnasium for the University of Guam. It is the only place big enough on island to fit everyone. It is somewhat air conditioned, so that is a plus.
The top picture is of Josh and Abby. They just moved to the states. We will really miss them. And the second photo is an updated shot of the family we are studying with. They are growing up fast. They are really taking seriously what they are learning. It is so encouraging. The last photo is of girls I grab a photo of every assembly because they are just so cute. Remember Alice with the seven boys? She got baptised at our assembly. That was a highlight.

Not All Bethels Are Alike

Every branch seems to have some things that are all their own. At our branch, our hair dresser was on vacation. Who would cut our hair? Well, Bart took a stab at it. And Atsushi was willing to be the guinea pig. And I must say, it turned out well. There is no one cutting the sisters hair. So for now, we go off site to get our hair done. Gets us out of the building anyway. When you work, eat, sleep and go to meetings all in the same building, leaving for a haircut is a big adventure.
